Compare Solar NI is operated by Move at Pace Ltd. We are a solar panel comparison service based in Northern Ireland.

What data we collect

When you use our comparison service, we collect:

Your name and contact details (email, phone number)
Your postcode and property details
Your energy usage information

If you do not finish a quote request

Our quote form saves your answers as you move through it, so you can pick up where you left off. If you enter your name and email address but do not complete the request, we keep that partial record. We may email you once to help you finish it. We do not pass a partial record to any installer, because we only introduce you to installers once you have completed the request and given consent. You can ask us to delete a partial record at any time at [email protected].

How we use your data

We use your data to:

Match you with suitable solar panel installers in your area
Pass your details to up to 3 MCS certified installers so they can provide quotes
Improve our service through anonymous analytics

Analytics

We use PostHog for website analytics, which only activates after you accept cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party tracking.
